And thus passes, yet another year of my life…

I look back into the past year and all the memories materialise. I am about to re-experience, all the bitter and sweet experiences that I was led through in this past year. My mistakes are now about to sting me and thus my demons are all returning to haunt me yet once more! I want to write so much about the year that is about become a history but words don’t come and pen seems to have rusted… Still, I shall try my best to recollect all those memories that are never to be lost… that shall be recollected again and again and again… -I stepped into the university -I started working despite of being convinced that I could never work while studying! -My life took a U-turn… -...the metamorphosis began -I made new friends and insha’Allah they will remain so for the rest of my life :) -Life had come to me in a completely new perspective The purposelessness of purposeless purposes has revealed it self. Although, it has not yet seeped into my soul! There is a lot more to be done and here lies a ...

Here you go, SE :)

Seven Things I want to do in my life -Become a writer in the real sense of the word -Read all the books that are present on earth! -Become an inspiring literature teacher :$ (does that sound corny?) -Mould myself in accordance with God’s commands. -Bring a revolution in the Pakistani media {ahem ahem @ SE :)} -Get rid of all my imperfections… (Ah, that’s impossible as long as I continue to be a human) -Accept reality. Seven Things I can do -Cannot accept reality most of the time -Can “flutter all ways and fly in none” (yeah, the phrase is taken from The Mill on the Floss) -Can be way too critical (that often takes the form of self-deprecation) of my own self. -Lose hope quite easily (now that makes me a pessimistic and that too with a capital P) -Can be gullible at all times. -Speak incessantly :P -Read. Seven Things I can't do -Can’t help being inspired -Can’t conceal my emotions… [Don’t worry I am working on this one :( ] -Can’t ignore people and their attitudes even I try my bes...

Well...

Yesterday I was finally able to complete that article about new year. Although I was quite convinced that i was suffering from a severe Writer's block but still managed a 450-word write-up Alhamdolillah. Slept at aroung two in the morning and then had to go to the University for the reader's club session at eight! And then finally had to rush to the office :( OMG, the day was hell tiring and I am realising this right now. Yeah, I am ready to fall into oblivion. P3@ce!

Yeah, that's me... right over there, down the road!

I can hear the wind howling... just a moment ago I was walking on the brown leaves and now I am nowhere to be seen!

L O S T

Gosh, I feel so lost! I really don't know why... I mean there are countless things that I want to write and talk about but all of a sudden i don't feel like saying anything. All I feel like is to stay quiet and listen to the songs of silence and solitude...

Finally got it fixed!

Alhamdulillah, i got the comments thing fixed... Thanks SE :) And yeh now i finally know what is this 'tagging' business all about :) the day was a blast as my best friend came over. We talked about the good 'ol school days and so many other things. It is so amazing that at times only one person's presence takes you back into the bygone days and this is how memories become tangible... yes, Tangible :)

'Tragedy of errors'... Is it?

Dec 16, 1971 The day the country split into two... can verbose speeches given by any general or politician justify the tragedy?

Too tired to write anything....

Just got through with this week's issue... Have put these lines by Kahlil Gibran into the poetry age... Solitude has soft, silky hands, but with strong fingers it grasps the heart and makes it ache with sorrow. Solitude is the ally of sorrow as well as a companion of spiritual exaltation.

?

What the heck is this all about??? :-s

I am lost!

I have finally created a blog and now i don't know what to do... where to go... a long process of discovering the blogging world seems to lie ahead!

The road not taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. -Robert Frost
